The Merrick Rose Garden highlights several excellent rose brambles, just as the memorable Fountain Square Centennial Fountain. The Garden is situated at Lake Street and Oak Avenue, one square east of Ridge Avenue. In 2003, new garden lighting and water system frameworks were introduced and the holding dividers were recreated. The Merrick Rose Garden is a prevalent area for little weddings or unique events, just as for wedding photos.
The Centennial Fountain was moved to the Merrick Rose Garden and was rededicated on July 4, 1951, which was 75 years after its commitment in Fountain Square in 1876. The first plaque just as another bronze plaque were introduced in the garden.
